We are Irrigation Tasmania, Located across 6 locations in Tasmania Australia. As Tasmania is both a small island with large reach, having 6 locations allows us to give the best service across board.
How long have you been in business?
Irrigation Tasmania started in 1995 in one location, since then we have expanded to 6.
How did you become a dealer?
We first heard about ReAqua and Lorentz through connections within Irrigear. We did our research and decided to sign on as a dealer in 2018.
Why are you in the solar pumping business?
We found a hole in service of the water industry in Tasmania. It is an island of many climates, with most of them being cold and sometimes with an abundance of water. We have been able to utilize this void and create a name for ourselves by having the best products and service in the state.
What is your background and how did you develop the skills to start Irrigation Tasmania?
We have a background in mining, so sort of water related. We were able to transfer our past knowledge and skills into our related industry. As we have always had a focus on people and customer management, we further developed these skills along side our business. We use the experts where we can, accountants or business experts to assist us with our own business development.
What has been your biggest success or install to date?
We have completed a number of large solar tank fill and water transfer systems. As there are many, we cant put our finger on the largest to date. We are always looking for more opportunities within Tasmania to do so.

How do you market your business? How are people aware of your business?
We do a lot through self managed social media, print advertising but mostly it is through word of mouth. Referrals from previous clients about our products and services are the best sales tool we have.
